You will engage and gather stakeholder feedback to enhance reporting and metrics across Workday Financials such as Procurement, Receivables, Payables, Expenses, Journals and understanding Finance & Accounting Processes, along with an understanding of operational transactions impact on Workday Financials.
What you will do in this role

Design, develop, configure, and test simple to complex Workday reports (advanced, matrix, composite, BIRT) utilizing Workday Report Writer and Report Designer, as well as other tools and available technologies.
Deliver meaningful metrics, trends, and analytical insights using Workday reports, dashboards, discovery boards, scorecards, web services, and worksheets.
Provide cross-functional understanding of data and support in the validation of new and revised reports.
Ensure data accuracy, privacy, and integrity by performing regular audits, developing best practices, maintaining relevant documentation, and educating end-users.
Utilize custom report design standards and report monitoring to ensure a consistent, trusted user experience with optimum report performance.
Participate in efforts to analyze and optimize report performance
Troubleshoot business and production issues, performing root cause analysis to reduce future issues.
Review system upgrades/releases to determine overall business impact, conduct regression testing and make recommendations for future enhancements/functionality
Collaborate with other organizations in the Workday Community to share knowledge and create and/or adhere to industry best practices.
Maintain awareness of current trends in Workday reporting and best practice

Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Workday Report writing/calc fields (includes creating dashboards in Workday) required
Deep knowledge of Workday data sources and complex calculated fields
Experience with scheduling of updates to workbooks, custom and trending data sources
Ability to understand the business requirements, user needs and translate them into operational requirements
Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy with highly confidential data
Self-motivated with a focus on driving results and strong sense of accountability
Demonstrated experience in analytical thinking and problem-solving
Superior collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work within a team-oriented environment, but also a self-starter who can take on new challenges and work independently
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change
