Position: HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR Job Location: Heppner, OR Must be 18 Years or Older Bruce Young Logging, LLC is in search of a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our company in Heppner, OR. We are a logging company that specializes in timber and forest management, as well as fire suppression under government contracts. OVERVIEW: The Heavy Equipment Operator position involves the safe and efficient operation of the equipment in our fleet for both timber management and fire suppression. We offer a flexible schedule with both part-time and full-time positions available. You can even choose to work year round or seasonally. We also offer benefits including Healthcare and Retirement, as well as a bonus after ninety days of employment. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: \' Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with our company policy of enrollment in our random drug testing program. \' Must provide a 3 year driving history obtained from DMV. \' Participate in and promote our Company Safety Program \' Be willing and able to work long hours when needed. \' Skilled at heavy equipment operation in a variety of equipment types. \' Keep equipment clean and free of loose materials. \' Communicating with the Owners to define expectations. \' Follow all rules and regulations. \' Completes daily inspection reports and service hour logs. \' Other duties as assigned as a part of the team.
