What you’ll do:

This position reports into the Value Stream leader AFTM MV+LV + LV and is part of the Operations organization and works closely with the Services (CSU) organization Benelux and EMEA.

The incumbent will be involved in projects/orders in the following products: electrotechnical switching distribution devices (medium and low voltage). Modular equipped standard systems with customer specific solutions. Unique customer made solutions, with visibility in the market (including Aftermarket).

Assignments will come via application engineering, CSO’s, CSU’s and/or external customers.

Project/Order Management volume of 3-20 orders simultaneously, different stages of execution, lead times of 2 weeks – 1 year, value up to €1 Mln. per order/project. Multidisciplinary environment.

Your main duties:

• Assessing and checking sales orders for feasibility, profitability and commercial conditions and degree of standardization

• Discussing / negotiating problems and / or deviations in alignment with CSO and customer within set authorization frameworks

• Determine Make To Stock, Assemble To Order or Engineer To Order qualification order for internal organization and confirm

• Analyse substantive order data and specifications and determine materials and man hours

• Translate to technical documentation production and outsource process steps in alignment with Purchasing

• Supporting / training licensees

• Compiling and managing a multidisciplinary project team

• Monitor progress and quality

• Settlement of contract variations

• Organize and guide FAT and SAT

• Prepare Field Service and perform site work

• First point of contact for warranties and claims

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• 3-5 years of working experience

Skills:

• In depth knowledge of Electrical Engineering and global knowledge on Mechanical Engineering and materials.

• Incoterms & payment terms knowledge

• PC en software skills

• Applicable Standards knowledge

• Product portfolio & possible applications for standard and non-standard systems

• Project management skills, PMP certification or equivalent PM certification with another institute is a plus

• Negotiation & analytical skills, being accurate, proactive/self-starter, efficient (time vs value)

• Teamwork (Accountability Self & Others), Ownership and Adaptability – Eaton Leadership Model

• Continuous Improvement capabilities

• Presenting skills (Management Level - Customers) including excellent communication skills

• Ability to work within an international and diverse matrix organisation

• Dutch, English & German language skills
