Schedule: B Shift (8:00 PM to 8:00 AM)
How will you make an impact?In this role, you will perform visual inspections at various stages of production, using specialized equipment to ensure product quality and reliability. By collaborating with the Quality team and manufacturing personnel, you will play a key role in maintaining quality standards and supporting compliance with required Quality Plans.
What will you do?
Follow written and verbal instructions, blueprints, diagrams, defect libraries, and control procedures to perform inspections.
Conduct visual and functional inspections of parts, assemblies, or final products at all stages of production, identifying workmanship deficiencies and material defects.
Collect components for inspection and check for defects like splay, contamination, flash, short shots, color variation, voids, and grease/oil to maintain quality standards.
Use a range of test instruments and electronic equipment to ensure product compliance with specifications.
Determine acceptability and identify defective items based on established procedures, escalating exception cases to the Quality Technician or Supervisor.
Collaborate with Quality Supervisor, Technicians, Inspectors, and manufacturing personnel to ensure consistent quality conformance.
Perform barcode transactions and print labels as needed.
Complete all necessary paperwork, documentation, and records per cGMP/cGDP requirements, reviewing for completeness and accuracy.
Support company safety, quality programs, and initiatives.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned based on business needs.
How will you get here?
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- 1 year of experience in injection molding, quality control, or a similar industry/environment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.
Must have normal or corrected-to-normal eyesight, including good color perception.
Strong manual dexterity, including fine grasping of small components.
Ability to frequently walk and stand for extended periods, with occasional bending, twisting, and lifting (up to 30 lbs).
Basic math skills and familiarity with arithmetic, measuring instruments, and chart interpretation.
Attention to detail and the ability to work in an orderly and logical manner.
Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with SAP and email experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in quality inspection, injection molding, or a related manufacturing environment.
Previous experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
