Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The SW Hospital Court Liaison provides oversight of mental health crisis response within the hospital milieu for St. Rose Hospitals including multi-disciplinary and external partner team interactions regulatory and policy oversight and awareness including mental health court and outside counsel interactions education of staff in formal and ad hoc situations and administrative task completion for all Mental Health Crisis Hold (Formerly Legal 2000/L2K) processes.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.

  • Licensed Social Work credential (LSW) required.

  • Demonstrates effective conflict resolution and service recovery skills.

  • Must be a self-starter and independent worker with excellent time management skills.

  • Advocates for an atmosphere of patient and family-centered care.

  • Be able to thrive in a fast-paced friendly and process-oriented environment.

  • Can maintain accurate and specific documentation.

  • Establishes working relationships with outside agencies.

  • Excellent customer service and presentation skills are a must.

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are essential.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks or projects effectively.

  • Ability to work independently as needed with a high degree of detail orientation.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills required to include Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace applications including Word Docs Excel Sheets typing and data entry skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years previous experience in health care or court/criminal justice system preferred.

  • Master’s degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council of Social Work Education preferred.

  • Licensed Medical Social Worker credential (LMSW) preferred

Pay Range

$29.16 - $42.28 /hour
