The Salvation Army in Henderson Nevada is looking to fill a Part-Time Receptionist position. The Successful candidate for this position will have strong telephone skills, a knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and good organizational skills.
The Receptionist will answer all incoming calls directing inquiries to the appropriate individual and taking messages as needed. This position will greet visitors and assess their need and assist them as is appropriate. The Receptionist position will process mail, mail appeal, bills, donations and deposits. This position will send out donor thank you letters, assist with routine clerical duties, and take minutes for Advisory Board meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have knowledge of computers and all Microsoft Office Suite software applications.
Strong telephone skills
Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as typing letters and composing emails
Ability to follow directions without supervision
Excellent detail, organization and file management skills
Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment
Bilingual, English/ Korean preferred
An understanding, respect, and acceptance of the philosophy of The Salvation Army

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus.
