Lockheed Martin Flight Test Engineer in Henderson, Nevada

Description: We are Lockheed Martin

As a Flight Test Engineer (FTE), you will be part of the Flight Test team. FTE will have experience in developmental flight testing working with a team of engineers, maintainers and logistics personnel to perform various processes and protocols. The FTE team will ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance in all aspects of flight test operations. The role demands the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

A level 3 employee Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, science, or technology discipline

Experience in working with technical teams

Developmental Flight Test Experience

Desired Skills:

Plan and implement flight test program(s), coordinate test program activities with manufacturing, test site resources, engineering system specialists, and other organizations.

Create Test & Evaluation detailed Master Plan (TEMP), Test plans, Detailed Test Plans (DTPs), and Test Cards documentation.

Conduct the actual test mission from Mission Control Room for the Test Director to coordinate of all aspects of the mission including: scheduling, test sheet preparation, running simulations and conducting mission rehearsals, maintenance, engineering, safety, test ranges, and test support organizations into a coherent, logical, efficient and executable test activity.

Conduct pre- and post-mission flight test reporting (Quick looks and full-up reports)

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
