In Hempstead (Nassau County), Long Island, NY: Our client - boutique, specialized law firm, serving as counsel to several well-known institutional and bank lenders in the commercial mortgage financing space - is searching for a Real Estate Paralegal to support the team on a contract/project basis. The ideal candidate for this role will bring at least three to four (3-4+) years of directly relevant Commercial Lending experience, as role involves reviewing title reports, assisting with closing documentation and other related tasks to finalize loans in the real estate space (firm represents lenders). RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the finalization of loans in the real estate space

• Contribute to the preparation of closing documentation for commercial lending transactions

• Review and analyze title reports as part of the legal process

• Utilize case management software for efficient handling of client files

• Conduct title searches to ensure clear property titles

• Manage calendar and scheduling for legal proceedings and deadlines

• Leverage knowledge of commercial real estate and real estate law in daily tasks

• Use Adobe Acrobat for document management and preparation

• Monitor and maintain accurate title commitment records

• Support the team with other related tasks as needed in the realm of real estate lending.

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLSET

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a Paralegal role or similar

• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat

• Experience with Case Management Software

• Expertise in Calendar Management

• In-depth knowledge of Real Estate - Title

• Proficiency in Title Commitment and Title Searches

• Strong Legal Knowledge, particularly in Real Estate Law

• Experience with Commercial Real Estate

• Familiarity with Real Estate Lending

• Comprehensive understanding of Real Estate Law
