Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking university students in the final stages of their studies, preferably graduating within one year to fill our vacant SAP Supply Chain Trainee position at IBM Consulting. As an SAP Supply Chain Trainee, you will join IBM’s Early Associate Internship Program, where you can kick-start your career in consulting. During the Early Associate Internship Program, you will be able to gain real-life experience from customer projects, develop your consulting skills, participate in valuable trainings and start to build your network within IBM.

As an SAP Supply Chain Trainee, you will be working with versatile SAP tasks. You will be participating in the application service delivery process, as well as the requirement analysis, design and implementation of SAP solutions. You may also help our senior consultants in different roles within larger SAP projects and assist service line management in bid and proposal work. During your traineeship you may be involved in different SAP solutions and modules, such as SAP S/4HANA MM, SD, PP, WM, LE, data etc. this depending on your previous experience with the SAP.

What we expect from you is active and enthusiastic attitude, analytical thinking, high level of ambition and the ability to work independently in a team. We also value good presentation skills as well as knowledge of software and services. SAP related studies and/or user experience are naturally big advantage. English and Finnish language skills are mandatory. More importantly the ideal candidate has a cheerful attitude, courage to take on new challenges and enthusiasm towards information systems and client facing business consulting.

The contract is part-time and fixed term. Weekly working hours are limited to 30 to enable you to finalize your studies. Contract duration is 6-12 months depending on your individual schedule. The employment start date will be flexibly agreed upon.

Required technical and professional expertise

Fluency in English is mandatory and Finnish is highly appreciated. University student preferably one year until graduation, focusing on business administration, information technology, engineering, or other similar field of science.
