We are currently looking to employ a Field Technical Services (FTS) Engineer to be based in our Helsinki office.
As an FTS Engineer, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all end-users within CBRE Finland and IT Service Desk logged Incidents and Requests primarily within Finland.
You will be part of the EMEA FTS IT team consisting of 50 FTS Engineers and a team leader. The team provides support across the entire EMEA region, with some users relying on the IT Service Desk as their initial point of contact for IT-related issues. The team is also responsible for direct communication with the user community, the IT/AV set-up functionality in the offices, and contributing ideas for new technical solutions, including testing and installing new software releases. What will You be doing?
Your key responsibilities:
Assist with deskside IT related queries reported through walk-ups, email, and telephone.
Investigating and assess end-user problems, failures and errors escalated through the EMEA IT Service Desk.
Troubleshoot hardware and software incidents logged to the team via ServiceNow.
Ensure all inquiries, issues, and assigned tickets are actively managed to achieve resolution within the set SLAs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date notes on all assigned tickets.
Communicate regularly with end-users regarding the status of open tickets and provide recommendations for replacing computer peripherals or implementing program changes to resolve software issues.
Conduct daily checks on printers and meeting room AV equipment to ensure their availability and minimize disruptions to end-users and business operations.
As an FTS Engineer, we expect an honest, approachable individual, with a flexible working attitude, which is essential due to the need for regular visits to other offices in Helsinki.

At least 2-3 years of relevant field and deskside support experience.
A good command of Finnish and English languages.
Technical skill requirements:
Strong technical knowledge in desktop deployments, hardware peripherals, and workstation decommissioning/recommissioning.
Proficient in deploying and supporting Windows 10 & 11 environments.
Extensive knowledge and mastery of Microsoft Office packages; familiarity with ITIL, MCDST, MSA, and CompTIA A+/Network+ is an added advantage.
Experience with troubleshooting software and hardware issues through debugging, testing and vendor collaboration.
Skilled in supporting and troubleshooting mobile devices, including iPads/iPhones and Android devices.
Experience with general troubleshooting of printers.
Skilled in assisting with meeting room AV setups for both small and large meetings and events.
Basic understanding of networking fundamentals.
Experience in using and managing Active Directory.
