The Role
Lumen is looking for a driven, and analytical Senior Lead Generation representative to drive the first interaction with prospective Lumen customers and be the key to Lumen’s success. As a Senior Lead Generation representative, you will help Lumen prospects and customers digitally connect their people, data and applications quickly, securely and effortlessly by understanding their business issues, and demonstrating the unique benefits of solving them with Lumen.
The ideal candidate is customer obsessed, results oriented and a strong communicator. To be successful, this candidate should have the proven ability to communicate effectively, actively listen, maintain rigor, manage relationships, and follow up with stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to contact Lumen prospects and customers in a timely manner, identify and qualify leads and will engage with the customers in the early stages of their journey with Lumen. Ultimately, contributing to our wider Sales team and driving the rhythm of our business.

The Main Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities
Interact with IT decision makers in large enterprise size businesses
Understand industry themes, customer priorities, and business positioning
Develop a broad understanding of the Lumen portfolio of solutions/products, communicate the value proposition, deliver elevator pitches and key messaging as needed to progress the conversation and improve conversation/meetings percentage
Have a BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing) qualified discussion
Set up a future conversation with the sales team and the prospect based on your efforts
Maintain knowledge of emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in the industry
What We Look For in a Candidate
3-5 year experience in a Lead Gen and/or Sales role with significant efficiency, volume and quality demands
Being comfortable on the phones, performing research on companies before calling
Identify and develop new business opportunities
Interact with IT decision makers in large enterprise size businesses
Understand industry themes, customer priorities, and business positioning
Develop a broad understanding of the Lumen portfolio of solutions/products, and necessary knowledge to progress the conversation and improve conversation/meetings percentage
Have a BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing) qualified discussion
Maintain knowledge of emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in the industry
Working knowledge of Salesforce is preferred
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges
$50,862.00 - $67,809.00 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$53,403.00 - $71,201.00 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$55,944.00 - $74,592.00 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
