As a national company, it is essential that Sunrun provide employees across the country with access to the facilities, equipment, and vehicles that are needed to perform their work. The fleet and facilities in a given market are the physical presence of Sunrun in that market - they represent our branch, they facilitate our ability to work, and they drive the culture of our teams.

The Sr. Fleet & Facilities Coordinator is responsible for execution of daily operational needs for the vehicle fleet and facilities in their assigned regions. For the fleet, this includes vehicle assignments, rental requests, fuel card requests, registration and licensing support, telematics and camera installations, etc. On the facilities side, this includes preventive maintenance scheduling, scheduling of repairs and services, managing bid requests for services, processing purchase orders, and other duties. This position requires an ability to work cross functionally with the various local teams with attention to detail and a sense of ownership over the operations in your region.

Responsibilities

  • Administer fleet programs including vehicle assignments, rental requests, maintenance, fuel, registration, interstate transfers, and telematics with many detailed procedures and reporting requirements

  • Maintain the vehicle fleet and equipment at its highest level by facilitating and directing preventative maintenance, repairs, and recalls while maintaining productive internal relationships. Analyze costs of quality repairs and remain fiscally responsible

  • Work with property managers and internal branch managers to handle routine property operations, including: scheduling preventive maintenance, scheduling repairs, procurement of property supplies and services, issuing purchase orders, managing bid requests and service or construction contracts, and processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  • Partner with Safety on accident reduction measures, facility safety programs, facility standards, building security, etc.

  • Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in business administration or related degree preferred

  • 2+ years of previous project administration, fleet or equivalent experience

  • Ability to multitask and interface with multiple internal and external customers in a fast paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

  • Experience working with 3rd party providers, including Fleet Management Services (ARI, Element/GE Fleet, Donlen, PHH etc.), is plus

  • Strong problem resolution skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication

  • Ability to prioritize and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks with a high level of organization

  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

  • Detail-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet use, Oracle experience a plus

  • Strong work ethic

Physical Demands

  • Ability to travel 20%

  • Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment

  • Ability to operate office equipment including computers and determine accuracy of work

  • Ability to interact with co-workers and participate in meetings

  • Ability to perform normal office duties

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

$20.36 to $27.15

Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.
