Cardinal Health Director Digital Partner, PSS Supply Chain in Helena, Montana

Digital Solutions serves as dedicated digital partners to the business and garners impactful insights to deliver analytical solutions. The Director, Digital Partner – Pharmaceutical & Specialty Solutions Supply Chain serves as a trusted digital transformation partner for the Pharmaceutical & Specialty Solutions Segment (PSS) Supply Chain organization. PSS distributes branded and generic pharmaceutical, specialty pharmaceutical and over-the-counter healthcare and consumer products in the United States. This role supports analytics efforts in PSS Transportation, Distribution Center (DC) Operations, and Inventory Management. This role is the ITSO of the CHIME Program and is accountable for analytics deliverables for other PSS Lighthouse (and non-lighthouse) project (CHLC, DSCSA, Pando, etc.). The Digital Partner works with business to drive 1) Run Analytics (day-to-day business insights) 2) Specific Project/Requests/Products and 3) Discover New Ideas/Strategize how advanced analytics can change the way we work. The Digital Partner strives to deliver tangible business value in a quick iterative (agile) development model and have the ability to scale solutions throughout the value chain.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of data engineering, data science and visualization, data automation, data analysis, and BI&R experts.

  • Engage business leaders with thought leadership to solve complex business problems and impact critical business metrics leveraging “all” of the services available across Digital Solutions. Develop and maintain trusting relationships with business partners.

  • Lead operating & engagement model with business as situation demands, define clear RACI & participation at key levels.

  • Conduct design thinking sessions to identify the best solutions for business needs/problems as well as a larger strategy/roadmap.

  • Strategize on how to use advanced analytics to change the way our partners do business.

  • Transform current state business intelligence & reporting portfolio by maximizing automated data pipelines and eliminating redundant reports.

  • Quantify value success criteria’s that would lead value to be realized by P&L.

  • Create persistent and project-based pods, with the ability to scale up/scale down dependent on business drivers.

  • Track development, delivery & value realization. Update business via Agile ceremonies (Gemba walks, Show & Tells, MBRs/QBRs, Art of the Possible sessions). Lead Meaningful conversation on ‘trade offs’ to prioritize/ de-prioritize user stories

  • Help drive the shift in company culture towards true ‘digital’ culture, by conducting Gemba walks, QBRs, Roadshows, and Show & Tells with various levels of business leaders.

  • Ensure a strong culture of collaboration, creativity, trust and recognition on the team.

  • Build and maintain product teams and expand into other areas of the Supply Chain.

  • Provide thought leadership to and execute upon a comprehensive data strategy that creates a single source of truth to support Supply Chain reporting and analytics.

  • Instill principles of data governance and implement data governance use cases to ensure trusted data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, Advanced degree (Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field) or equivalent work experience preferred.

  • Experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, AI/ML, RPA, DPE, Business/ Digital Transformation.

  • Excels at building and cultivating relationships with senior leadership & other stakeholders

  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing high preforming teams

  • Proven track record of leading large, complex projects (e.g. Lighthouse projects) and delivering in alignment with business expectations.

  • Strong in communications and change management

  • Ability to be imaginative to improve processes and drive efficiency within the digital solutions organization.

  • Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives that have significant financial and strategic impact

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage projects, processes and people.

  • Highly communicative, highly accountable, with the propensity and ownership mentality to drive favorable outcomes and continuous improvement.

Anticipated salary range: $115,000 - $195,000
