St. Peters Health Dialysis Liaison - 1.0 FTE in Helena, Montana
Works under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. D uties include: answering the phone, performing receptionist duties, faxing records, web-based data entry, developing/editing word and excel documents, entering patient charges, and compiling information to ensure accurate records, order entry for lab tests, assist charge nurse with miscellaneous orders (call special procedures for date and times available for tests), fax orders to appropriate department, obtain records needed for transient patients, admit and discharge patients.
Under the direct supervision of the RN, performs delegated patient care tasks that are routine in nature and which do not require clinical judgment. These include: Clean and disinfect dialysis chairs, station and equipment after use, transporting patients to and from dialysis department, assisting patients in obtaining pre and post weights and temperature, obtaining items requested by patient (ice, blanket, etc). Performs other dialysis equipment readings performs equipment QI procedures as assigned. Performs inventory control, supply ordering, organizing, restocking, and monitoring sterile supplies for outdates. Updates disaster patient information folders, prepare forms for transfer to medical records (tear down charts, assure completeness of records before sending to Med Rec)
