State of Montana Compliance Audit Manager - External Section in Helena, Montana

* *Position Title: Compliance Audit Manager, External Section The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is recruiting for a Compliance Audit Manager, External Section. This section’s primary focus is to ensure contractors and consultants comply with contracts, grants and loans, and federal cost principles when performing work and billing MDT. This position is responsible for performing complex audit and compliance work and supervises multiple engagements. Responsible for consistency and accuracy of final reports and reviews, and ensuring audits are completed in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA), and International Registration Plan (IRP). Examines and evaluates conformity with state statutes, rules, federal regulations, contract requirements, and other compliance components.
