State of Montana Business Program Specialist (DBE/SBE) in Helena, Montana
* *Position Title: Business Program Specialist (DBE/SBE) TheMontana Department of Transportation (MDT)is recruiting for a Business Program Specialist (DBE/SBE). This position manages and coordinates the daily operation of the Agency’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) programs to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. Responsibilities include recruiting small businesses; making eligibility determinations; implementing MDT’s business development program; monitoring compliance; and managing and reporting program specific data. Requires approximately 30% in-state travel, including overnight and long day trips. Requires the ability to lift between 25-50 pounds. Such as 6 years of related experience. This agency may use a training assignment. Employees in training assignments may be paid below the base pay established by the agency pay rules.
