Plant Controller

As our Plant Controller you are responsible for our complete "financial household‘!

You plan the budget and keep an eye on our total costs and expenses. You collect, interpret and review financial information and produce financial reports with difference scopes. You support the management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company.

You keep challanging, not only yourself, but as well the rest of the team, to improve in financial processes, costing, project-and financial control. You will have the lead in our upcoming transition to the corporate system ‚AX Dynamics‘ which is the best opportunity to redesign and improve control!

This position of Plant Controller is a vital, demanding, independant and interesting position directly within the Heerhugowaard Production Plant within an international organization. You have one direct report, you are part of the management team and report directly to the Plant Manager and indirectly to the Supply Chain Controller. Next to that you are in close contact with the Business controller of our Shared Service Center.

You are responsible for:

  • Conducting analyses for the cost and budget level in the different departments.

  • Coordinating the yearly plans and budget process.

  • The integrity of the P&L and balance sheet reporting.

  • Developing and improving business models, control procedures and policies.

  • Coordinate and cooperate with auditors.

  • Maintaining Management Information System including follow up of targets.

  • Investment advise in pre and post calculation.

  • Indentifying and implementing improvement processes.

  • Leading and/or participating in projects.

  • Follow-up of reference products and coordinate the yearly budget pricing update

  • The inventory valuation and the monitoring of inventory trend.

  • Lead, support and coach your team member,

  • Contributing the Management team with a good team spirit and positive atmosphere.

    Profile:

  • HBO working and thinking level.

  • Experience in a similar environment (Business Controller / Finance manager in operations, manufacturing company)

  • Familiar with working in an international matrix environment

  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.

  • Experienced in different management tools like ISO and ERP system, (AX Dynamics).

  • A strategic thinker.

  • A good communicator who is able to deliver the message.

  • A critical eye with a proactive attitude.

  • Teamplayer

  • IT skills

    It is required to be a good listener and communicator. You are a person who will take initiative and you are able to work self independent and in teams. You are customer orientated.
