• PAY: $36-40 an hour depending on experience

• SCHEDULE/ENVIRONMENT: On-site

Description:

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring ISO9000 and IATF standards are being met along with implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance production.

• Responsible for the completion and submission of PPAP documentation

• Assurance inspection, measurement and testing for applicable product lines

• Support Quality readiness, implementation and flawless launch of New Projects

• Responsible to coordinate any applicable process issues that pertain to rubber compounds adhesive coating, molding

• Coordinate the development, implementation and training in procedure and work instructions pertaining to Quality

  MUST HAVES:

• 5-7+ Years of Quality Engineering experience

• Skilled at Automotive Corrective Actions/Root Cause Analysis using quality techniques (5Y, 8D, Fishbone)

• Understanding of PPAP documentation processing

• Demonstrated effectiveness in supplier problem solving management

• Strong organizational skills

NICE TO HAVES:

• Experience with North American Automotive companies from a Quality standpoint (Ford, Stellantis, GM, etc.)

  • Education: B.S or A.S level (open to no education with 7+ years of relevant experience)

  • 10+ Years Quality engineer experience within the Automotive industry

  • Experience with rubber or plastic molding

  • IATF 16949 auditing experience a plus

  • Warranty analysis and reporting a plus
