We are currently hiring a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, based in our Head Office .
Please note that this is a contract till December 2024.
Please note that this is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC office. Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our Head Office or are not looking to relocate to the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region will not be considered.
As a Senior Analyst, FP&A you’re a member of the Finance team, supporting high priority projects, while ensuring sound analysis and financial modelling techniques. You will provide financial modelling support across various divisions to prepare budgets, forecasts, project plans, and related scenario analysis.

What you’ll do
Undertake special projects, including working with cross-functional teams and external partners to assist in the implementation of financial planning software.
Participate in process improvement initiatives, including restructuring of management account reporting and transitioning to IFRS 17.
Present analyses, conclusions, and recommendations via presentations and in written form.
Interpret and analyze structured business problems and queries.
Develop models to assist with revenue and expense projections.
Provide financial modeling support through preparing budgets, forecasts, project plans, and related scenario analysis.
Provide commentary on month end financial performance for BCAA products.
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, or Economics, or equivalent with emphasis on quantitative analysis and methods.
Five years of experience in Financial, Marketing, or Operational Analysis (insurance or financial services preferred).
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 software (PowerBI, Excel, or Adaptive Planning softwares).
Bonus qualifications! MBA, CA, CPA, or other related professional designation.

The salary range for this position is $48.64/hr to $60.80/hr, and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9%, with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.
