1 x Program Coordinator, Strategic Ventures - TFT - Please note that this is a contract till December 31, 2025. There is a strong possibility for extensions and/or permanent conversions, but are subject to performance, operational needs, and will need to be interviewed for.
We are currently hiring a Program Coordinator, Strategic Ventures based in our Head Office in Burnaby.
Please note that this is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC office (3 Remote / 2 On Site). Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our Head Office or are not looking to relocate to the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region will not be considered.
As the Program Coordinator, Strategic Ventures at BCAA, you will support the rapid growth of Evolve , BCAA’s innovative E-Bike and E-Scooter share program, and other initiatives within the Strategic Ventures team. This role functions as a Program Coordinator , focusing on a portfolio of strategic ventures and reporting directly to the Business Manager, rather than a Project Manager. This structure ensures that you contribute to broader program goals and long-term success while supporting day-to-day project execution.
You will maintain project plans, coordinate stakeholder communications, and provide essential administrative support that ensures the team’s objectives are met on time. This is an ideal role for someone interested in expanding their skills in project coordination within a startup-style environment, contributing to high-impact projects across the business.

What you’ll do:
Facilitate the execution of multiple projects by developing and maintaining project management tools, including task boards, timelines, and risk registers.
Coordinate project meetings, manage scheduling, and follow up with stakeholders to ensure deliverables and timelines are met.
Monitor project-related risks and maintain action and decision logs to keep projects aligned with business objectives.
Conduct research to support new market opportunities and assist with the development of proposals, including drafting and editing content for grant applications and RFPs.
Provide administrative support by preparing reports, presentations, and dashboards for both internal and external meetings.
Handle day-to-day operations such as vendor setup, contract circulation, and form submissions, ensuring smooth operations across project needs.
Support budget and financial activities, including invoice reconciliation and budgeting summaries, contributing to year-round financial tracking.
Assist in planning and executing strategic workshops, facilitating collaboration across departments.
What you bring:
Certificate in Project Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 2 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or executive assistance.
Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to travel locally as required, with a valid BC Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract.
Bonus Skills and Experience:
Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Monday.com, or Trello.
Previous experience in a startup environment or in supporting micromobility initiatives (e.g., bike or scooter programs).

The salary range for this position is $54,957.00 to $68,696.16 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 9%.
