Job description
Are you a skilled Fabricator/Welder looking for a rewarding opportunity? Join our team as we are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Fabricator/Welder in the Hazleton area. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding various metal components according to specifications.
Duties:
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as stick welding to assemble and fabricate metal structures.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine the layout of metal components.
- Fabricate ductwork, sheet metal, and pipes to meet project requirements.
- Adhere to construction site codes and standards while ensuring the quality of workmanship.
- Operate a forklift to move materials within the workshop or construction site.
- Utilize a micrometer for precise measurements during fabrication processes.
- Conduct pipe threading when necessary.
Experience:
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with expertise in stick welding techniques.
- Familiarity with ductwork, sheet metal fabrication, and pipe threading.
- Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience operating a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Proficiency in using a micrometer for precise measurements.
- Knowledge of construction site codes and standards.
