ManpowerGroup Maintenance Technician in Hayward, California
Our client, a leading autonomous vehicle company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Equipment and Maintenance Department supporting a dynamic team of engineers and technicians. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Hayward, CA
Pay Range: $30-35/h + Benefits
What's the Job?
Support the creation and development of preventative maintenance procedures and standards under the supervision of the Equipment and Maintenance Manager.
Work with equipment vendors to perform major maintenance procedures.
Perform or manage the maintenance on all vehicle assembly equipment.
Respond to downtime events, equipment alarms, and production-related support requests.
Perform root cause analysis on equipment and quality-related issues.
What's Needed?
5-7 years working with industrial automation, automotive shop equipment, automotive/aerospace assembly equipment, or equivalent.
Strong electrical (12VDC to 480VAC) and mechanical knowledge.
Basic knowledge of robotics, PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, vehicle lifts, and DC tooling.
Good computer skills, with a willingness to learn 3D modeling software.
Ability to read 2D and 3D prints and schematics.
