Robert Half Director/Manager Financial Reporting in Hayward, California
Description We are seeking a Director/Manager Financial Reporting to join our team in Hayward, California. This role will involve overseeing the financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis processes, along with providing strategic financial insights to support our growth and profitability. The successful candidate will be expected to bring strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial management principles, and a proven track record of driving process improvements.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with the CFO to manage and oversee the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across the organization.
• Prepare monthly financial management and operating KPI reports, variance analysis reports, and board materials.
• Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
• Develop product costing techniques and lead pricing analysis in collaboration with Production and Sales.
• Collaborate with other departments to prepare accurate budgets, reports, and process improvements.
• Work on the financial analysis of potential mergers and acquisitions to support growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role such as Director or Manager of Financial Reporting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.
• Familiarity with BlackLine, EPS, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential.
• Proficient in managing Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Experience with Auditing and managing Balance Sheet Accounts.
• Skilled in Budget Processes and KPI Reporting.
• Excellent Financial Reporting and Financial Modeling skills.
