What's the job?

Responsible for providing day-to-day leadership across the food and beverage operation of the resort; maximising financial returns, driving development of people, creating and maintaining unique guest experiences, executing on brand standards, and building awareness of the resort, its product offerings and brand in the local community. In addition the role is also responsible for ensuring compliance with all governmental regulations concerning health, safety, or other licensing and applicable legislative requirements.

Your day-to-day

As part of your day-to-day responsibilities, you will collaborate with the Human Resources Manager to develop and implement training programs aimed at improving food and beverage team member engagement, aligning with the resort's brand service behaviors. You will also oversee succession planning, establish and monitor KPIs, provide mentoring and feedback, and manage staffing and HR-related actions. Additionally, you will coordinate with Venue Managers to ensure effective rostering and labor cost management, review sales performance, and focus on guest satisfaction metrics. Other duties include maintaining a safe environment, acting as a public relations representative, promoting environmental sustainability, and leading food safety activities.

Your role also involves ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, planning and assigning daily staffing requirements, and training team members in quality and service standards. You will promote teamwork and quality service through regular communication with other departments. In enhancing the guest experience, you will uphold brand standards, drive guest satisfaction, and respond to guest feedback. You will also work with other managers to maintain facilities and equipment, analyze guest insights, and promote health and wellbeing initiatives for team members.

What we need from you

• Bachelor’s degree/higher education qualification/equivalent in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field plus 4+ years of related experience, including management experience.

• Must speak fluent English.

• Must obtain certification or permits as required by local governmental agencies.
