Description
Robert Half Talent Solutions is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our client's finance team in the Hawley, Pennsylvania area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring that all financial transactions are properly documented.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
Conduct periodic financial analysis to identify and resolve issues, discrepancies, and variances.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field is preferred.

Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations
• Proven skills in bookkeeping and data entry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge of Payroll management is required
• Proficient in QuickBooks and MS Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred.
