Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Production Supervisor (Specialist/Lead) to join our high performing Hawkesbury team. This role focuses on driving performance through the analysis of trends and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), supporting health and safety programs, and championing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. We are looking for a leader with the flexibility to step in and replace production supervisors during vacations or other absences.

When You Join Us, You Will
Foster a safe work environment and drive continuous improvement in the plant's safety processes
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety programs.
Analyze production trends and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop and maintain scorecards to monitor performance metrics.
Plan, implement and monitor production operations to meet scheduled production volume requirements. Execute production department activities to achieve the overall plant production schedule.
Leverage the IKO Excellence continuous improvement programs to instill lean manufacturing practices, tools and discipline to ensure plant competitiveness and sustainability.
Lead and participate in lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize production processes.
Implement and sustain continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Act as a liaison between production teams and management to align objectives.
Support the implementation of new process
Promote a culture of performance and accountability to enhance and develop talent development.
Continually strive to foster a team environment that provides open and honest communication across all levels.
Step in to replace production supervisors during vacations or other absences, ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining production targets
THE IDEAL CANDIATE
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
8 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or operations role, with a focus on lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams.
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Flexibility and capability to step into supervisory roles as needed.
