Job Summary
The Office Supervisorfor our Hauppauge, NY facility will report to the Operations Manager and will manage staff, foster a positive work environment, and ensure positive customer experience and proper departmental operation. We are looking for an energetic professional who does not mind wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and support related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for partnering with, servicing, and increasing sales for assigned accounts.
- Manage invoicing, processing, and collections in compliance with company's policies and vision
- Accountable for meeting and exceeding performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand while ensuring accuracy and upholding quality control standards
- Responsible for smooth running of office including general office administration, ordering office supplies, oversight of office vendors
- Oversees and manages the daily activities of office staff to ensure efficient operations, service delivery and expense control.
- Implements procedures and policies for all administrative activities.
- Manages record-keeping, document preparation, mail distribution, reception, bill or invoice processing, maintenance services, technical support, project coordination/scheduling, and other related internal operations.
Job Highlights
The posted range for this position is $70, 000-$90, 000, which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements
- A minimum of 3-year experience; glass industry preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent; College Degree preferred
- Strong organizationaland listening skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workwithdeadlines
- Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment to meet required deadlines
- Utilizes strong time management and organizational skills to successfully multi-task
- Must be able to communicate effectively and conduct themselves professionally, with excellent written and verbal communications
- Able to read and perform mathematical calculations, and write measurements in number fractions at a high school education level
- Ability to read, interpret and understand drawings and specifications
- Computer experience a must and typing of numbers with accuracy

Work Environment
- Primarily works in an office environment with controlled climate.
- Ability to perform light hand activity work at a computer/telephone station in an office environment. Position is primarily sedentary.
- Some duties may involve being in a plant environment where noise levelscan be moderate to high and besubject to the same general climate conditions of the region (heat, cold, humidity, etc.).
- Chemicals, dust, pollen and other typical airborne particulate matter are present within the atmosphere of the production floor and may create some odors in the plant. The Company, inan effort toprovide its employees with a safe and healthy working environment, limits exposure to chemicals through written procedures, engineering controls and PPE.
- While the chemical exposure and odors are under acceptable levels set by OSHA and the WCB, they nevertheless, can be smelled and are handled according to the companys hazardous communication program.
