We are seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team at an industrial machine shop specializing in metals and aluminum. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the operation of facility equipment and systems, ensuring all machinery is running efficiently and the building is kept in excellent condition. This role involves preventive maintenance, repairs, and responding to facility needs in a fast-paced, heavy machinery environment. salary: $19 - $20 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems (electrical, plumbing, etc.)

• Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment

• Ensure the facility meets safety and health requirements

• Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently

• Oversee contractors when repairs are outsourced

• Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs

• Assist in setting up for company events and rearranging furniture as necessary

• Ensure compliance with state and local building regulations

• Perform, painting, and other general repairs

• Work with a team to identify potential facility improvements

The essential functions of this role include:
