THE ROLE: Business Operations Analyst (SLED)

Job Summary:

As a Business Operations Analyst (SLED), you will have the responsibility to plan, assess, track and ensure timely and accurate timely monthly/quarterly/bi-annual/annual deadlines to the contracts assigned in our State, Local and Education (SLED) portfolio.

Travel Requirements:

This position is remote and does not require any travel.

Job Responsibilities:

Overview

  • On a monthly/quarterly/bi-annual/annual basis pull data from enterprise software systems and utilize provided templates for report submission.
  • Ability to take multiple data sets into a single data set.
  • Participate on team calls.
  • Maintain sales data each month in the sales tracker tool that gives insight into business performance and helps drive effective decision making.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external SLED team members as needed for deliverables and solutions in a timely fashion.
  • Must work with Accounts Payable to ensure invoice and fee payments are accurate and delivered by deadlines.

Reporting

  • With support from Senior Business Analyst, compile and report monthly/quarterly/bi-annual/annual contract reporting to each agency assigned.
  • Follow up with agencies assigned as needed related to any issues or questions. This could include internal and external SLED agencies or SLED Contract Managers.
  • Be responsible for contract reporting data and its accuracy within the assigned SLED portfolio.
  • Deliver recommendations for continuous improvement in streamlining reporting deliverables.
  • Assist peer analysts on technical problems.
  • A passion for learning new systems, datasets, and software.

    Required Skills:

    • Full-time, telecommuting remote position.
    • High Level Proficiency with Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, Formulas etc.) is required and preferred knowledge of SharePoint, other MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively with various reporting requirements.
    • Ability to work some overtime as required to meet critical deadlines.
    • Adeptness in navigating the current landscape and adapting to changes to ensure contract compliance.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
    • Alteryx exposure would be a benefit but not required for the position.
    • Highly detail-oriented, organized, multitasker, and strong critical thinker.
    • Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
    • Strong interpersonal skills; leadership, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills with multiple stakeholders.
    • Ability to plan, organize, and successfully drive projects or deliverables to meet defined timelines.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients, and public entities

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience preferred.
    • 2+ years of data analysis or reporting experience (utilizing advanced Excel skills)
