Are you an experienced Electrical Test Technician with a passion for hands-on work and troubleshooting? An aerospace company is seeking a Bench Test Technician to join their team. In this role, you will conduct electrical testing on various components, ensuring they meet performance and quality standards. You will utilize advanced testing equipment, troubleshoot faulty components, and collaborate with our engineering team to drive product improvements. Please and attach your resume if interetsed!

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical testing on a variety of components (e.g., resistors, capacitors, semiconductors, connectors) to verify functionality and performance.

• Set up and operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, signal generators, and impedance analyzers.

• Test components for electrical properties such as voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, and inductance, following established procedures and test plans.

• Perform continuity, insulation resistance, and voltage withstand tests on electrical and electronic components.

• Analyze test data, identifying trends and discrepancies, and generate comprehensive test reports for further review.

• Troubleshoot faulty components and assemblies by interpreting schematics, conducting voltage and current measurements, and utilizing other diagnostic methods.

• Document test results, failures, and solutions in accordance with industry standards and company policies.

• Verify the electrical characteristics of prototypes and pre-production units, ensuring compliance with specifications.

• Provide feedback to engineering teams regarding performance issues and recommend corrective actions or design improvements.
