Job Summary
Reporting to the Supervisor for Registration and Student Relations, the primary duty of this position is to process the assignment of classroom space for approved academic and non-academic requests. Respond to inquiries concerning course scheduling and registration issues. Serve as a back-up in the absence of the Supervisor for Registration and Student Relations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Adheres to University and department policies, procedures, and regulations.
Coordinate the assignment of university classrooms for academic and non academic requests.
Services as primary point of contact for academic departments requesting classroom space. Processes classroom and event information into the University space utilization software.
Assist students, faculty, and staff with course scheduling and registration
issues.
Assist the campus community during the academic units schedule entry period.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree(GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
One to two years experience employed in a higher education environment. Working knowledge of student records module with in PeopleSoft and familiar with Ad Astra scheduling software.
