We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. The position will report to the Controller supporting all functions of the Finance team. The accountant will be responsible for a wide variety of analytical and specialized accounting administrative support including maintaining records & systems, generating financial reports for various groups, assisting with AR, AP, Payroll, and Cost Accounting. This individual should be highly organized and detail-oriented and possess the ability to effectively work both independently and in a team setting. This role supports our finance roadmap with growth opportunities and efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting duties, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions.

• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improving financial performance.

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

• Researching and resolving account discrepancies.

• Manage fixed asset system.

• Assist with property tax and sales tax filings.

• Prepare and distribute monthly/weekly/daily reports.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and end of month/quarter/annual activities.

• Prepare account reconciliations, variance analyses, and various accrual calculations.

• Assist with Internal and External audits.

• Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Additional duties and projects as assigned.

• Requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in accounting, finance, or business administration and 2+ years of relevant experience.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Multitasking skills to assist multiple tasks at once.

• Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

• Microsoft Office proficiency, skills with PowerPoint and Excel, required.

• Attention to detail with excellent communication skills.

• Ability to get along in a team environment.

• Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures.

• Positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.
