BRYCE ZION INN LLC Cook in HATCH, Utah

Job duties:  Line Cook.  Prep cook.  Kitchen Cleaner.

Must have a food handler permit.

Cut steaks, cook pulled pork, cook muffins, cook banana bread.  Food made to order like chicken sandwich, burgers, salads, french fries, steaks, ribs.  

Clean kitchen, do dishes.  Empty garbages.  

Restaurant back duties include keeping Health inspector happy:

  1. Cooking and portioning high use pre portioned items, i.e. Bacon, Brisket, Ribs, Chicken, Pasta, Pork butt,

brownies, muffins or other adjusted menu items on down time.

  1. Starting oven/grill/fryer. Filling steam table, stocking fridge drawers, freezer shelves.

  2. Cutting steaks, wrapping ribs, pulling pork. Must be able to lift meat slicer, and heavy pans of meat.

  3. Maintaining availability of side salads, and dinner salads each day, and making the approx. number needed.

  4. Must be able to pass the Utah food handlers test. Employer will pay for the 2 hour online class.

  5. Checking for dressings, tartar, cocktail, ranch, french, bleu cheese, italian-fill/date 2 oz containers.

  6. Checking for 10 servings of both kinds of pasta in freezer, if not make them, and portion them.

  7. Checking for 5 brownies left, and 20 corn muffins left, if not make them, and portion them.

  8. Line drawers -slice tomatoes, onions, lettuce, make lto's, stock pickles, lemons,mushrooms, peppers.

  9. At closing tear down steam table, cover food, clean grill, counters, dishes, mop, sweep, and garbages.

  10. Kitchen has a TO DO and OUT OF Whiteboard. Please make lists, and work to accomplish lists each shift.

  11. Put the order away on Mondays and Thursdays ASAP. Dispose of boxes. Must be able to lift cases of food.

  12. Change the bag in the box soda, and co2 tanks when they get empty. Must be able to lift bag in a box soda.

  13. Be willing to make cookies/candies/cinnamon rolls/extra items to sell.

  14. Call or text owners/coworkers if you get a full dining room and are not keeping up.

  15. Restaurant can use up all prepped food between 8-9pm. Morning and Night shifts need to keep items prepped.
