Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Hours: Monday-Friday | 7 am till 3:30 pm (1/2-hour lunch)

Location: Hatboro, PA

Pay Rate: $20-$30/hr. (depending on experience)

Shipping & Receiving Clerk Job Duties:

• Coordinating and managing all aspects of shipping & receiving responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing shipment

• Receive incoming goods

• Maintain accurate records

• Ensure inventory levels are properly managed

• Prepare shipment by labeling, documenting, and scheduling with carriers

• Arrange and track shipment, while communicating with carries to ensure timely delivery

• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address any shipping issues

• Receive an inspect incoming shipment, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders

• Unload trucks and ensure that all good are properly stored in the warehouse

• Record and manage all incoming inventory in the company database

• Communicate with vendors regarding any discrepancies or damaged goods

• Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records

• Operate Forklift, pallet jacks, and additional warehouse equipment

• Additional warehouse duties as assigned

  Shipping & Receiving Clerk Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving

• Forklift certified (6000 lbs.) capacity

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods of time
