Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Metal Finisher/Polisher to grind, sand, and polish fabricated stainless steel cabinets and countertops. You will be responsible for masking off materials and polishing out welds using power and pneumatic tools.

Responsibilities

• Grind, sand, and polish stainless steel cabinets and countertops.

• Mask off materials to prepare for polishing.

• Polish out welds using power and pneumatic tools.

Essential Skills

• Experience in metal finishing

• Proficiency in grinding and sanding

• Skilled in polishing

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with power tools

• Experience using air tools

• Ability to read and understand blueprints

Work Environment

You will work in a medium-sized fabrication shop that is clean and well-organized. There are currently 2-3 metal finishers in the department, and there is room to grow into welding roles. The shift is from 6 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday, and 6 am to 12 pm on Fridays. There may be periods throughout the year where working until 4:30 pm is required.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
