Job Overview

Weatherford, a leading organization in the Oil & Energy industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager TRS to lead our field operations with a strategic mindset. This pivotal role is responsible for the planning, organization, leadership, and management of operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of technical support specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

  • Oversee the allocation and scheduling of resources to ensure adequate coverage and timely resolution of technical issues.

  • Manage escalated technical issues and provide guidance to the support team for complex problem resolution.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

  • Identify and implement training programs to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of the support team.

  • Manage the operational budget and control expenses within allocated resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or an equivalent field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in operations, including 2+ years of P&L responsibility.

  • Comprehensive understanding of the product line, technical job planning, customer requirements, and market conditions.

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

  • Proficiency in relevant systems and software, including JDE, Hyperion, TapRoot, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, and FieldFX (where applicable).

  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
