How will you make an impact in this role?
American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the Global leader in the Corporate Payments Solutions space and continues to be an exciting and fast-growing business. To maintain success, accelerating sales and driving profitable growth are critical to the organization. The Sales Enablement, Pricing and Transformation (SPT) team is critical in supporting these objectives. Our Incentive Capabilities team is focused on powering GCS growth through the provision of new products which will enable new pricing constructs, enhance client incentive user journey, enhanced visibility & insights to support Sales and Account Development colleagues across the globe.
This position will support the development and implementation of analytical solutions, to provide consultative support to the GCS leadership team. The incumbent will also highlight trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance business decision-making processes, while working very closely with Sales, Marketing, Capabilities, Technology, and Analytics teams to drive growth in the sales organization and contribute in One force setup & reporting.

This role will support the fast-accelerating GCS business.
The role will require to establish governance and controls for sales practices in collaboration with operation excellence and compliance teams.
Effectively engage with stakeholders to understand the business requirements.
Partnership with Stakeholders and Business Partners to provide valuable insights to support leadership.
Support sales organization growth by effectively managing sales portfolio.
Drive Analytics and Insights through various data tools.
Identify & implement various automation techniques to improve efficiency.
Drive initiatives through project management.
Driving resolution for escalations (if any).
Stay focused on relationships, understanding business strategy and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate/Engineering/Masters from a reputed university.
5 Years of experience Preferred Qualifications
Good knowledge of big data
Salesforce
Looking for statistical and operational experience.
Behavioral Skills/Capabilities
Good communications and presentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain next gen MIS that empowers Regional/Market GMs and executive SLT to make informed strategic decisions.
Provide data support and analytical solutions to stakeholders and leadership using advanced analytics – e.g. NLP, Clustering, segmentation, predictive modeling, and customer targeting techniques.
Strengthen foundation by exploring bigdata platforms (CS, Lumi etc.) for new tables/missing metrics.
Partner and collaborate with multiple teams and create insights/MIS that will help stakeholders to understand overall performance.
Craft a compelling PowerPoint narrative that effectively communicates your analysis to stakeholders, ensuring that it is easily comprehensible.
Translation of complex analytical output into easily digested insights with clear recommendations
Identifying opportunities for new automated & custom analytics solutions around all areas of the customer journey and servicing touchpoints.
Develop advanced understanding of data sources and potential usage scenarios.
Identify new technologies and capabilities that can advance and future proof analytical solutions.
Analytical Thinking: Comfortable working with large quantities of data and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills set
Minimum Qualifications
3 years with relevant experience in Analytical/Modeling Skills with 2 years in data modeling and MIS
Graduation/post graduation in Management, Economics/Statistics or related fields from top-tier institutes
Experience in big data query and analytical tool such as hive, Yellow bricks, MLS
Experience in visualization tools such as Tableau or Power Bi is preferred.
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
Prior experience of working on SQL & Python
Excellent Communication and relationship-building skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively
Integrate with cross-functional business partners worldwide
Experience working on Cornerstone, Lumi
Ability to drive results with strong thought-leadership
Extensive Exposure of MS tools advance MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access, Power Platform including Power BI
