Job Description

Department: Quality

Designation: Manager – BE & CFC Quality (Assembly Process Quality)

Education Qualification: Graduate in Electrical & Electronics.

Experience: 12 to 15 Years.

Preferred Industry: Mobile Manufacturing

Certification: Six-Sigma Black Belt (Preferable)

Job Description:

a) Define key quality metrics in the Assembly and Packing line, monitor performance, identify trends, and drive necessary improvements.

b) Drive the Quality assurance department, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. QMS Improvements.

c) Capability to do initial failure analysis and fix the owner.

d) Monitoring the incoming quality issues and driving the improvements from Suppliers and ODM’s.

e) Investigate the line defects and customer complaints driving systematic Root cause analysis and implementing corrective action. Drive 8D, CAPA, and effective closures.

f) Conduct Quality Audits, identify areas for improvements, and implement corrective actions. Prepare a Sampling plan and checklist, drive Process and Product Quality audits.

g) Drive Improvement Projects.

h) Participate in WW review calls and drive improvements.

i) EHS Management.

Required Competencies for this Role:

i. Six Sigma DMAIC Knowledge.

ii. Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools. Strong knowledge on QC Tools (8D, Kaizen, Q7 Tools, etc.,)

iii. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

iv. Superb computer skills, including database management

v. Knowledge of Inspection process and supplier audits

vi. Statistical Process Control & FMEA

vii. Strong team player

viii. Good written and verbal English communication skills

ix. Able to drivecross-functionalteams forproblem-solvingand improvement

x. Certified Internal auditor for ISO 9001/ISO 14001 (Preferable).

xi. Knowledge in EHS Management.
