Basic Job Functions: SUMMARY: The Operations Supervisor is responsible for supporting and engaging production associates, ensuring that daily production goals and quality standards are met and maintained and upholding an environment free of hazards. In addition, this position is responsible for including but not limited to inventory control management, directing work of others, assisting with performance management, rewarding coaching and developing associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Perform final assemblies of door orders and manufactured parts per the daily production schedule. Read and follows blueprints, work orders, and other instructions in order to build and assemble parts in an accurate and timely fashion. Ensures the production process inspections meet the highest quality standards required. Support daily production operations by prioritizing, scheduling, and directing the work of assigned associates ensuring the work flow is efficient meeting standard of excellence and achieving financial and performance goals and objectives. Continually evaluate processes and methods, recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment, performance, utilization of associates, and quality of product. Communicate and maintain close contact with Operations Manager, Operations Supervisor II, and production associates to ensure unity and clear communications through personal interactions and meetings. Review and schedule daily labor requirements with Operations Manager. Prepare, analyze and submit data/reports to other departments.
