Job requirements: Support the production operation by providing immediate response to all breakdowns to minimize CNC equipment downtime and follow all escalation processes as defined. Performs routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery. Replaces or repairs parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges and switches and other electrical parts and equipment. Observes and listens to mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts and examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections. Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Initiates purchase order for parts and machines, lubricates, and cleans parts, start devices to test their performance. Ensure machine availability goals are met by participating in and organizing Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement activities to increase equipment up time. Assist in training employees to perform simple Maintenance tasks as associated with the machines they work on. Assists with construction activities and facility maintenance repairs repairing appliances, broken assets, and other issues, such as plumbing, heating, wiring, drywall, and plaster. Operate necessary material handling equipment to transport supplies and to make installations and repairs. Follows all safety rules and procedures and observes the operations to ensure a safe environment. Performs all other related duties as requested or assigned. Skills and Experience: Degree in Tech College preferred. High School diploma or GED. At minimum of 3-5 years\' experience of CNC Service Technician required, working with industrial machinery. Interpreting prints of machine assemblies, layouts, hydraulic and pneumatic systems for troubleshooting and repair. Prefer Electrician\'s License, but not mandatory.
