Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

$62,200.00 - $102,600.00

What Is the Opportunity?
Under supervision, this position performs risk assessments to evaluate threats and behaviors to ensure workplace safety. The Workplace Safety & Security Investigator makes recommendations in a timely manner to mitigate these threats. This position requires a combination of virtual and in person / onsite collaboration, including enterprise wide and global investigations. Travelers offers a hybrid work location model that is designed to support flexibility. Travel may be required.
What Will You Do?
Conduct timely and unbiased investigations involving allegations of workplace violence.
Documents investigative findings in a report of investigation this is clear, concise, and comprehensive which reaches conclusions based on the evidence.
Briefs decision-makers on investigative findings and makes oral presentations.
Conducts risk assessments into potential workplace violence and other threats to the workplace and executes agreed upon solutions.
Assures appropriate retention of documentation relating to investigations, accurate and timely data entry into the case management system, and other post investigative tasks.
Performs tasks from detailed instructions and established procedures.
May testify in court or in administrative proceedings as needed.
Manages low to moderate investigations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What is a Must Have?
Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Counseling Criminal Justice, or related field.
Two years of experience in assessing and managing situations that involve individuals who exhibit threatening, intimidating, or disruptive behaviors are emotionally distraught and/or person(s) with complex personality traits or tendencies.
Valid driver's license required.
