Description:

Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Senior Clinical Advisor - RN – Behavioral Health to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators at Mount Sinai Rehab Hospital . The Senior Clinical Advisor will promote a health care culture that values growth and input from frontline staff and will be an empowered leader who facilitates the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will assists in the management of unit personnel, the nursing unit environment, and collaborates with patients, families, peers, physicians and other members of the health care team in the delivery of health care services to patients.

Work Hours/Shift:

  • Full-Time – 40 Hours

  • Rotating

You Will Be Responsible For :

  • Exceptional Patient Care : Collaborates to provide continuity of patient care by insuring adequate resources are available and is the nursing management representative on site.

  • Excellent Communicator : Contributes to the creation of a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families and colleagues through displays of kindness and active listening.

  • Strong Educator: Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.

  • Effective Leadership : Encourages staff to creatively problem solve and develops team work by role-modeling behaviors

Requirements :

  • Education : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

  • Licensure : Current Licensure as a registered nurse RN in Connecticut

  • Certification : BLS certification required;

  • Experience : Progressive nursing experience in a variety of settings including Behavioral Health and supervision

Preferred Skills:

  • Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing BS) degree

  • Certification : National certification in area of specialty
