Job Description

As a Senior Manager of Product Management, you will lead a team of PMs that define product strategy, requirements and go-to-market. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities. You will also lead interactions across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met and influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations is important. Play a crucial role in defining and driving entire products and major product areas that enable our customers to deliver seamless experience for end consumers.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

  • 10 years in product management experience in a technically complex area or solutions architecture

  • 3 Years of people management

  • Technical understanding of networking: Firewalls, Loadbalancers, Certificate Management

  • Technical understanding of deployment frameworks like terraform, chef etc.

  • Technical understanding of public cloud infrastructure services

Recommended Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

  • 15 Years experience in product management in a technically complex area or solutions architecture

  • 5 Years of people management

  • Technical understanding of networking: Firewalls, Loadbalancers, Certificate Management

  • Technical understanding of deployment frameworks like terraform, chef etc.

  • Technical understanding of public cloud infrastructure services

  • Strong communication skills, analytical abilities, detailed understanding of product development and product management.

  • Proven experience in product leadership roles, with a focus on hyper-scale cloud data platforms and healthcare cloud solutions.

  • Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment and get results.

Responsibilities

As a manager in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
