Position Summary
Aetna Health Digital aims to transform health and wellness via products that enable consumer engagement and a best-in-class experience. This team is responsible for Aetna's digital strategy and all digital products, as well as the development road map and execution of the roadmap. A key part of this team is to build an integrated platform and underlying products to drive engagement and revolutionize health and wellness.
Aetna Health is taking on a major initiative to expand its capabilities for market differentiation.
This effort will include a completely new approach to developing software within Aetna, using the latest design approaches, technologies, and processes. We're looking for a Product Owner to support our engineering teams within our Brilliant Basics portfolio, Interaction and Engagement Train. In this role, you will directly impact a large scope of functionality, ensuring members can self-serve for some of our more complex use cases traditionally serviced by phone or mail, such as submitting a claim, finding and understanding their pharmacy plan and costs, as well as managing their health and engaging with a care team.
On this team your role will include:
· partnering with other product leads, business analysts and system team experts to understand overall business requirements and parse those down into a set of specific stories that the development teams can execute on
· helping lead the team to success by working across groups to drive discussion & engagement, create & track user stories in a SAFe/Agile framework.
· managing dependencies to mitigate risks and issues across our teams.
· ensuring internal product stakeholders needs /expectations are met and promote transparency by effectively communicating both within and across our teams.
· Work within the team on prioritization of the product backlog and the status of development efforts via system demos, drive Agile ceremonies and participate in technical discussions/solutioning sessions to collaboratively determine the correct path forward for the product.
Required Qualifications
· 5-7 years working in digital product/engineering Ownership, or equivalent experience.
· 5-7 years supporting technical business requirements definition and documentation through an analyst type role.
· 5-7 years of experience with Agile / SAFe / Kanban experience
· 5-7 years of experience supporting/partnering with software engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications
· Health Insurance industry experience
· 2+ years of SDLC (Software Delivery Life Cycle) experience.
· Product Owner/Product Management certificate or training
· Experience working with common workflow tools (e.g., Rally, Jira)
Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$101,970.00 - $203,940.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
