We have an exciting new remote opportunity with our Digital Technology & Access Management team for a Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) Architect.

What You Will Do:

The Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) team is responsible for the day-to-day identity operations for all PWUS customers. This includes the full customer identity life cycle, access requests / workflows, user registration, authentication and authorization, and much more.

The current CIAM solution is often times the first interaction our customers have with our systems, making it critical to provide them with a user friendly, intuitive experience. We are currently on a transformation journey to revamp and replace the current CIAM solution across all of PW.

The individual in this role will be the lead Architecture for the deployment, delivery, and support of the new CIAM solution. The ideal candidate would have experience leading a ForgeRock deployment utilizing key modules such as: OpenIDM, OpenAM, Identity Gateway, and Directory Services.

This individual will work across many teams including real PW Customers, the Portal Owners, Cyber, Identity, Infrastructure, and Cloud Ops to create a sustainable solution going forward while also enabling and assisting in future enhancements.

Other Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting and leading in future deployments, migrations, and enhancements for portal and application teams.

  • Lead the migration of the ForgeRock solution from a legacy cloud environment to the go forward RTX cloud environment.

  • Own the strategy, architecture, and execution of migration of applications currently using legacy enterprise authentication/authorization solution to use the ForgeRock CIAM platform for authentication/authorization.

  • Hands-on experience with customization of ForgeRock components, including connector development, writing scripts, and building workflows.

  • Evaluate and provide guidance and hands-on assistance with the technical and end user experience evaluation enhancement requests from the business

Experience with SDLC and working knowledge of migrating code from lower to production environments.

  • Work closely with project management to identify essential IAM technical requirements, prioritize requirements, catalog requirements, and assign them to project use cases and sprints.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or Information Systems and 8+ years of prior relevant work experience; OR an Advanced Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or Information Systems and 5+ years of prior relevant work experience; OR in lieu of a degree, 12+ years of prior relevant work experience.

  • 3+ years hands-on experience with core ForgeRock modules previously listed.

  • Hands-on Unix / Linux experience as it pertains to scripting and automation.

  • Azure Cloud Services experience and understanding.

  • Experience with authentication and authorization technologies like SAML, OIDC, oAuth.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Java, JavaScript, SQL, API experience.

  • A strong desire to improve customer experience.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
