Meet Our Team:
Cloud Accelerator Group is responsible for engaging with Pega’s clients to ensure the timely delivery of Pega Cloud. The team is made up of some of the most technical and experienced staff in Pega.
The group is responsible for driving strategy and execution of completing Pega’s journey to an as-a-Service software company. As part of this group, you will interact with all parts of Pega - GTM, Cloud Engineering, Service Assurance, Sales, Partners, and Clients.
Your role’s focus will be on two of the key focus areas for Pega’s Chief Cloud Officer – accelerating our client’s move to Pega as-a-Service and upgrading existing clients to the latest as-a-Service infrastructure.

What You'll Do at Pega:
Collaborate to identify and prioritize client requests, based on unique needs for the client connectivity.
Develop documentation for deployment procedures and processes.
Work with Cloud Operations on the go live for Pega Cloud environments for our clients.
Work with the Global Service Assurance Team on connectivity for Cloud 2 to 3 updates.
Work with pre-sales architects, solutions consultants, and account executives as an active, customer-facing member of the sales team to drive our clients to upgrade to Pega-as-a-Service
You will engage with our client's IT departments to build relationships to explain to clients what we offer from cloud connectivity and provide technical feedback and suggestions about integration with their infrastructure.
You will advise clients on the design of their connectivity solution to Pega Cloud based on our standard connectivity options and facilitate the setup and testing between the client and Cloud Operations.
You will be working on time sensitive delivery of the connectivity required for us to go live with our Pega Cloud offering with various support and operations teams including support of the Global Service Assurance as a Service Upgrade engagement.
Provide feedback to Cloud Network Engineering for any enhancements we need to make to our connectivity options.
Work with engineering leads to translate client feedback on services that automate service delivery, management, client self-service, and operations.
Who You Are:
Passionate about cloud technologies and are familiar with AWS and GCP core concepts and services.
Experienced with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Lambda
Have knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration
Understand cloud networking concepts and best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in keeping with a customer-facing role
10+ years of relevant experience
What You've Accomplished:
10+ years of experience in cloud technology
Experience automating Cloud Networking Configurations tasks using services such as AWS Lambda or GCP Cloud FunctionsExp
Working experience with AWS networking services like PrivateLink, VPC Networking and Private DNS (it would be great if they also know GCP Private Service Connect) (https://docs.pega.com/bundle/pega-cloud/page/pega-cloud/pc/learning-about/connectivity-options.html)
Understanding of VPC, subnets, security groups, and network ACLs
Understanding of networking concepts (routing, subnetting, etc.)
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration services like ECS, EKS, and Fargate
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
Understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including version control systems (e.g., Git).
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven strong communicator with ability to present to a mixed audience of technical and non-technical people
