General Responsibilities:
This position is tasked with developing and sustaining the Quality Management System in line with the required industry standards, accreditation requirements and business requirements across the SDV Platform Functional Division through existing and new procedures. Regulate, control and improve the quality of all processes throughout Software QA Group and the final released software product. Manage the audit program to ensure that all nonconformities raised are effectively corrected and independently verified. Embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company. Lead the team to achieve quality management system targets for customers and business goals. Facilitate any training needed within the organization regarding the QMS.
Job Responsibilities:
Includes the following (other duties may be documented and assigned by local management and some duties may not apply dependent upon the requirements of the position at each specific site and/or the strengths of the employee and the needs of the company):
- Establish and maintain a robust QMS framework that aligns with SDV Functional Division requirements and integrates seamlessly with our operational procedures.
- Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes. Introduce new processes and procedures where appropriate.
- Be aware of and understand changes in standards, regulations, and updates to quality standards and requirements.
- Conduct regular internal and process audits of the QMS.
- Facilitate and support audits conducted by third parties and certification bodies.
- Ensure all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy customer, business and audit requirements. Manage the document control process and database.
- Develop and maintain practices to ensure all internal systems and supporting procedures are reviewed and revised as necessary to meet the needs of the company and external certification bodies.
- Manage audit non-conformity database and ensure timely resolution of any non-conformities.
- Develop strategies to prevent recurrence of issues and enhance the overall quality of processes.
- Develop key metrics and report on the performance of the QMS to top management and other stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on audit results, feedback from stakeholders, and analysis of performance data. Promote a culture of quality and excellence within the organization.
- Facilitates uniform standards for the group and enables best practice sharing, thereby fostering the achievement of the division's mission globally.

- Proven ability to make sound business decisions, exercise good judgment, and be highly motivated
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy with Root Cause Analysis
- Maintains clean and orderly work environment
- Interacts with various levels of associates
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of organization needed
- Strong work ethic and self-starter personality
- Strong abilities in auditing of systems and procedures
Education: Bachelor or Master's degree
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years applicable experience in automotive
Job level is determined by various factors such as organization size, responsibility, career stage, and capabilities.

Working conditions:
- Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Travel: Domestic and international may be required as needed. The candidate will occasionally need to travel to multiple global locations to support project development.
