EDUStaff Position Individuals hired into this position will be employed by EDUStaff and assigned to Mid Michigan College.

This position involves organizing, maintaining, cleaning, checking out and in and security of tools and equipment. Also included in the duties will be assisting faculty in the preparation and delivery of lab instruction.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains Heating/Refrigeration/Air Conditioning (HRA)
- Cleans and organizes HRA equipment.
- Prepares HRA lab for classes (student stations, tools, equipment, supplies, etc.)
- Assists with the development and revision of lab practices.
- Assists faculty with the implementation of competency-based objectives and outcome measures for the HRA program and courses taught.
- Maintains and reports appropriate lab records (e.g., inventory, PROE, etc.).
- Maintains and requests updates for classroom/lab equipment and supplies.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the HRA faculty member(s) and/or the Associate VP of Economic and Workforce Development.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Knowledge of the HRA industry.
- Knowledge of the HRA lab work environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Ability to work with students in an educational environment.
Education, Certification, Licensure:
- Associate degree in HRA preferred.
Experience:
- One year of work experience in professional HRA setting preferred.
- Experience with students preferred.
Working Environment:
- The job responsibilities of this position are performed in an shop environment.
- There may be occasional travel to other college locations for staff coverage/meetings.
- Duties are performed in an independent and team atmosphere. Continuous collaboration with team and supervisor will occur.
- The job requires moderate physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward (5- 50 pounds).
- Moderate exposure to chemical substances.
- Moderate discomfort due to heat, dust and noise consistent with a shop environment may occur.
- Typical schedule varies per semester class schedules and based on need.
