Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Strategic Services Supervisor (Administrative Officer 4) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Strategic Services Supervisor, you will provide direction and oversight to the Strategic Services Section to include developing and monitoring section goals, objectives, and projects to ensure successful and timely completion, as well as alignment with the department's overall goals and objectives.  You will also develop reports, dashboards, and metrics to observe section activities and establish key performance indicators to evaluate effectiveness and results.

Additional duties include information technology and business process reengineering tasks, and assisting with employee engagement and development and management programs.  You will participate in specific initiatives designed to enhance employee professional development, job satisfaction, morale, productivity, and retention.  This position will also entail involvement in special projects as deemed necessary.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Administrative Officer 3 (Commonwealth title); or Six years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
