This position is with the Bureau of Emergency Preparedness and Response (BEPR), Division of Planning and Operations, Workforce Preparedness Section. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you serve as the BEPR internal planner and training coordinator. This involves disseminating education and training announcements to PADOH staff and other key health professionals across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. You provide state and federal training programs to the Commonwealth's public health workforce, in coordination with the PADOH's partner planner and Distance Learning Coordinator (DLC), and the BEPR exercise coordinator, to meet emergency preparedness training needs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours: start time can be between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM; end time can be between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM with either a half hour or one hour lunch period depending on schedule. You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Free and secure onsite parking. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Public Health Program Associate 2 (commonwealth title); or A bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in the development, analysis, or monitoring of programs, grants, or contracts in health, human services, social or behavioral services, health care services, or health insurance; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Other Requirements:
